Nashville Combine 2026 Recap

Athletes from across the country gathered in Nashville, Tennessee for The College Combine, the ultimate recruiting event designed to connect high school athletes to college coaches. Throughout the day athletes demonstrated their abilities in tumbling and stunting alongside agility drill tests to showcase their athleticism, potential, competitiveness, and natural ability. The Nashville College Combine brought a competitive and talented group of athletes, while providing athletes with valuable exposure and insight to the college recruiting process.

“My favorite part of the combine is when athletes have the opportunity to visit the college tables and connect directly with coaches and programs. There is so much to learn about collegiate cheerleading, STUNT, and acro & tumbling, and having all three disciplines represented allows athletes to explore every opportunity available to them. While many athletes are familiar with the bigger college programs, they often discover schools they may not have previously considered that offer everything they are looking for from strong academics and athletic programs to scholarships and campus culture. It’s exciting to see athletes learn more about their options and begin finding the program that best fits their goals.”

“What impressed me the most, aside from the incredible size of our Nashville Combine with nearly 180 athletes, was the determination and adaptability of the athletes. While the combine is an opportunity to showcase skills, it also allows athletes to demonstrate how coachable they are. Throughout the day, athletes rotate through different stunt groups and work with a variety of teammates. It’s amazing to watch them quickly adjust, communicate, and excel in new situations. Their ability to adapt and collaborate with so many different athletes is something that stands out and provides valuable insight for college coaches.”

“Events like this are important because they provide athletes with direct exposure to college cheerleading in one accessible setting. Instead of traveling to multiple expensive clinics at individual schools, athletes can connect with a wide range of programs all in one place, helping them get their foot in the door without the added financial burden. For athletes who are still unsure of their path, whether that’s UCA, NCA, NAIA, JUCO, SEC, Big Ten, or other collegiate programs, the combine creates an opportunity to explore all levels of college cheer. As they transition from high school or All-Star cheerleading, they’re making decisions that will shape both their education and athletic future. Having a platform like this is important because it provides guidance, clarity, and exposure for athletes who may not know where to start, helping them confidently take the next step in their cheer journey.”
