Big Skills 2026 Recap
From June 21st through June 23rd, 2026, Nfinity hosted Big Skills Camp at Lake Lanier in Georgia, bringing together 84 athletes and 7 recognized, experienced instructors for elite training and skill development. Open to athletes with at least a back handspring, this year's camp welcomed participants ages 4–16 from all over the US, Canada, and England.
For Head Instructor Rommel Osuna, who has been with Big Skills for the past 5 years, the camp's mission goes beyond helping athletes leave with new skills. Osuna explained the goal of Big Skills is to build confidence through safe technique. While many athletes earn new skills throughout the camp, he views them as a byproduct of the process rather than the main goal. That philosophy is reflected in a full instruction day dedicated to forward tumbling. By focusing on an area that is often overlooked, Big Skills helps athletes develop these skills through proper progressions and safe technique.
Big Skills emphasizes giving athletes a foundation they can continue building on long after camp ends. Through progressions, technical corrections, safe falling technique, and a focus on the mechanics of tumbling, athletes leave with a toolbox of drills and concepts they can safely apply to their training at home. That philosophy is what sets Big Skills apart from other camps and clinics, prioritizing long-term development over short-term results.
Fall of 2026, dates and location will be released for Big Skills 2027 with registration opening shortly after.
